About BrightScale

BrightScale is a technology-based marketplace and lead intermediation platform connecting homeowners with contractors through leads, credits, and marketplace tools. BrightScale does not perform construction or service work, employ contractors, guarantee pricing or outcomes, act as a broker or regulated professional, or intervene in off-platform agreements. BrightScale provides technology only and is not a party to transactions between users.

Eligibility and Account Registration

By registering, you represent that you have legal capacity to contract, that provided information is true and current, and that you will maintain account confidentiality. BrightScale may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion for violations of these Terms.

Payments and Stripe Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and dispute, fraud, and chargeback policies. BrightScale does not store sensitive payment information.

No Refund Policy – Credit Only

• All purchases are final and non-refundable.
• No cash or monetary refunds will be issued.
• Purchased credits cannot be redeemed for cash and have no monetary value outside the Platform.
• Where legally permitted, BrightScale may, at its sole discretion, issue platform credits for future use. Any refund granted will be issued exclusively as internal credits.

Platform Credits

Credits are digital usage licenses, non-transferable, non-redeemable, and may expire under commercial rules. BrightScale may modify pricing, packages, and credit rules at any time.

Limitation of Liability

BrightScale is not responsible for disputes between users, financial losses, lost profits, indirect or consequential damages, or actions of third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user to BrightScale in the last three (3) months.

User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform for illegal purposes, provide false information, bypass payments or security systems, or engage in fraud, spam, scraping, or reverse engineering. Violations may result in immediate account termination without compensation.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, designs, and technology on the Platform are the property of BrightScale or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Data Collection and Privacy

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that BrightScale collects and processes personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, including personal information and usage, analytics, and technical data. Review the Privacy Policy for full details.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Florida, and users waive any other jurisdiction.

Modifications to Terms

BrightScale may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Final Acceptance

By clicking “Accept”, “Create Account”, or using the Platform, you confirm you have read and understood these Terms, agree to all provisions, accept the no-refund / credit-only policy, and consent to data processing as described in the Privacy Policy.
